A Proven Record of Success.

UCM was created in June 2001 with the combination of R.A. Cullinan and Son (Est. 1913) from the Peoria area, Freesen (Est. 1946) and Illinois Valley Paving (Est. 1963) from the Springfield area, and Rowe Construction (Est. 1926) from the Bloomington/Normal area.

Covering a Large area of central and south-central Illinois, we perform every type of highway and heavy construction in our Illinois Market territory, in addition to dirt work and concrete paving in Missouri.

Over the last 18 years, UCM has demonstrated that it can perform on any challenging project with low-dollar, high-value bids.

In recent years, UCM has continued it’s growth with the acquisition of Gunther Construction in 2012 and Wayland Ready-Mix in 2014, increasing our market territory further into the Galesburg area. UCM continues to look for more opportunities to expand and grow.
